How to turn off new comp from selection?

Hello guys! Can i ask how to remove 'New Comp from Selection' future? Since i returned to AE, everytime i am editing and import a image / video: It turns into a composition which is a hassle for me. I have been deleting compositions alot and i really want it off. Any tips how?

I just want to import my footage without it turning into a composition. Please help me with this

It's a checkbox during import (down under on the footage import window) you have to turn off.
It will stay off until you turn it back on.
