Hi!

Can I install older version of AE then available in the Adobe Creative Cloud?

I want to install AE 2022.

Reason: after update to AE 2023 or 2024 I always have same error with importing absolutly different MP4 files, like "file cannot be opened it may be in an unsupported format". Importing any other formats (excluding mp4) - OK

Thanks a lot for the resoponces. I've solved the problem with importing MP4. It helped to uncheck hardware accelerated decoding in Preferencies. And before this I've updated OpenCL.dll in System32 folder and reinstall video driver.

As of January 4, 2024, you can only go back to 23.0 using the Creative Cloud versioning tool. You can find it by clicking the three dots after the Open button in the Creative Cloud/All Apps section.

What are your OS and system specifications? Most MP4 files should give you no problems if you have a compatible and up-to-date machine.

Hi Rick, I am running an old MacPro "trash can" late 2013, MacOS Monterrey 12.7.6, and would really like to run older versions of AE and Premiere, anyway I can do that? Would hate to dump this machine, it's been so good to me for so many years.
Thank you in advance for any help on this matter. Cheers!
