so im trying to scale a clip and I have the keyframe at the very end but for some reason, at the very last millisecond of the clip, it goes back to the original scale even though I have the keyframe right under it. please help, I’ve tried moving the keyframe beyond the clip and it still goes back to the original scale at the very last millisecond.

There is a keyframe hidden somewhere. Use the J and K keys to snap between keyframes. When you find the wrong one press the delete key.

You could also have a duplicate of the layer that is revealed by a miss timed out point. Check that by using the slider at the bottom left corner of the layer stack in the timeline to zoom into the frame level of your comp. The slider has a big mountain at one end and a small one at the other.

I understand how to do all of that and I’ve checked numerous times and there is no hidden keyframe or layer. I’ve even tried deleting all the keyframes and adding them all over again and it’s still goes back to the original for a split millisecond at every end. it even says it’s as ‘40%’ scale when it’s showing ‘100%’ scale.

    Purge cache.

Extend the comp duration and check there.
