Layers Flickering upon Export

Hiya!

So when I preview my comp in After Effects it looks great, no glitches at all. But after I export it I go to watch my video and it has a lot of weird glitching. Some frames disappear, other frames only one layer of the comp disappears or looks slightly lighter, sometimes a layer will be cut in half, so the bottom half is visible but the top half isn't. I've been scouring forums and I can't figure out a solution. I've been exporting to lossless .avi files. I'm using Mercury GPU Accelerator (CUDA) to render. I've tried purging the cache and memory.

I was able to decrease the amount of flickering by unchecking "Include Project Link" in the output module, but there is still some minor flickering in the background layer.

Experience the same my end, have tried multiple export settings and composition settings as well as computer and program restarts and still nothing. Likewise my video does not contain alot if any effects and 3D effects and I have infact exported this video previously with no problems at all, so seems it may be an adobe problem as we are not the only ones with the issue.

so do i, same problem. my case is link to Ae from PR, the flicking even happen what i press ENTER to preview the AE footage in the PR, but goes fine on direct preview when pressing Spacebar.

I am having the same issue
This is the 5th video this happens to.
the layers are fine and I have no 3D and minimal effects

I am having the same problem. Layer in the file looks great but not showing in the export and other layers flicker....any resolution?

Same here and it got even worse. I cant work anymore out of a sudden.

Hi cassandrav,

Thanks for reaching out. I checked the video that you shared. Getting the artifacts or glitches after export does not look ideal. I have a few questions:

Have you experienced it with multiple projects?
Did you test it by changing the export settings?
Have you checked the playback in a different media player like VLC?

Please try exporting via Media Encoder in a different format and let us know how that looks. We're here to help.

Hey, Not sure if this case is closed, but haven't seen a resolution.
Also I am also experiencing the same issue, have a look.
The grey boxes flicker for the first few seconds, and then settle down.
