Lottie files indecipherable

I've exported three animations via Bodymovin and for some reason they just came out as blurry blobs. The animations were done using Ai linked layers using only Position to animate. There is a text layer on all three and a null layer on two. This is so confusing to me since I've used this workflow many times and I've never encountered this issue before. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what's causing this. Thank you.

Attached files

  • first screen recording is an example of one of the exported Lottie files
  • next three screen recordings are animations in Ae
  • final four photos are of the comp layers

I don;'t have bodymovin, but you say your workflow hasn't changed and suddenly you're having an issue.  Is it possible that you're on the latest version of AE and you've found a bug?  If you downgrade to the previous version, is the issue solved?

I think I may have figured it out. It seems that Lottie or Bodymovin doesn't support the linked Ai layers. Converting them to shapes does the trick!
