Mac OS X: After effects connect to Media Encoder
Ok so this is my last cry for help, I haven't sleep for hours and I still didn't find a solution other than exporting to mov and then re-encoding it to mp4 because obviouse 10 gb for 3 minutes in 720p30 is too big to save on hard drive.
I can't connect my Media Encoder to After Effect on macos: I tried reinstalling it 2 times, creating symlinks inside library/preferences/adobe/media encoder folder for 16.0, 17.0, 16.0, 15.0, 14.0 folders pointing to my .app, also I tried to import my .aec files (raw after effect saves) into media encoder, obviously not working.
I also tried installing vokouder but it's windows-only, developer promised to port it for mac in 2019 but he probably had more interesting stuff to do this 2 years. AfterEffects Codecs is expensive and I don't trust it.
Do you know any other codecs to export to mp4 directly from. After Effects? Maybe somehow connect AE with Premiere and then export from it?
Any help appreciated, other than asking to reinstall/automatically remap links (not working)
After Effects 17.0 (build 557)
Media Encoder 15.0 (build 37)
MacOS BigSur 11.0.1
