magic bullet looks not applying

hey so i upgraded my computer recently and lost all my plugins, i recently redownloaded my MBL on AE 2023 (it's not "official" but it is licensed) and i realized that when i tried to apply colorings to a clip on an adjustment layer it wouldn't let me i do not have the checkmark and x option to apply the colorings to the clip i've already tried installing and uninstalling to no avail, anyone know why? thanks!

    Same as your other post: Not enough info, no screenshots. The only statement one can make based on what little bits are in your other thread is that your computer sucks and is unsuitable for AE and by extension also may fail to support plug-ins like MBL that are highly dependent on hardware-accelerated functions to do their thing.

    i mean i have a macbook, the latest one, im not sure what type of storage but i know it's around the 2TB storage, i just updated from an older mac which had less storage and it worked perfectly fine so its definitely a plugin issue most likely but ill try to upload screenshots tho the MBL looks panel is universal, i have access to my colorings it's just the apply button at the bottom right corner.
