magic bullet looks not working

hi! i downloaded a plugin called "magic bullet looks" following a youtube video. every time i try to download it, it always says "This installer application has been moved. It must run from its original folder containing a packages directory. The installer will now exit." i tried downloading it many times, but it keeps saying the same thing. does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

Can you activate the installer from the web site?

Perhaps you should ask Magic Bullet for help with installing their plug in.

Without any system info and other details this is not of any use to anyone. That "moved packages" error typically indicates a deeper issue like running out of temp disk space or the global system installer having trouble finding specific directories. Only precise info would even allow to make a guess...

I'd recommend actually buying it.. because if you downloaded it from a YouTube video, it's probably not a legit version. If you HAVE bought it and you are looking for an installing tutorial, then you should give us more info as Mylenium said.

Yes i have had the same problem and I haven't found a solution yet i have downloaded it before but then i deleted it. I am having the same problem with boris fs sapphire plugins. I think its because i have downloaded it before and deleted it so its saying run the installer from the location from where it was installed before my guess for fixing this would be to clean all files related to adobe and red giant including temp files and cache and then trying to install everything again.

In the latest versions of all Maxon effects, you must use the Maxon app to install the plugins. Purchase a license, download the Maxon app, then follow the instructions to install and license the effects you have purchased.

Magic Bullet is only part of the Magic Bullet Suite and cannot be installed separately.

I'm also just going to add the included Lumetri effect's Creative section achieves much the same results as the magic bullet plugin.  If you're following a tutorial and going after a particular look and don't have the money for a Maxon subscription.
