Make mask independent from layer transform

Hello,

I've got a layer with some fractural noise tracked to some corner pin data from Mocha. However to make the layer cover the whole hand, I've had to rotate and scale it, but that has meant that the mask (which I generated from the same Mocha data) is also rotated and scaled. Is it possible to have the mask unaffected by the transformations done to the layer its applied to?
