Maxon still installing, can you fix this?

I  refuse to install this product but it keeps getting installed on my computer despite me checking no.

I did a fresh computer wipe and reload of CC and still this software installs. How do I keep Maxon off my computer?

This is closed. I was prompted to update After Effects today and it asked me if I wanted to update maxon or not. I said no.

Just don't do auto-update. You have to update manually to get the prompt to say "no". Just FYI.

Uninstalled again...so we know it takes two days now for it to sneak back on. So I'll post again on the 30th, lol.

Here's the details in the Windows App Manager and here I thought there was only one Adobe "Sneaks"

@Brian C Carter I think the problem is that every time Adobe issues an update for After Effects,  Maxon gets reinstalled. This looks like something in the base code that has not been removed. Basically, I can uncheck when I install but the software is added when the software updates. I still can't believe Adobe would allow another firm to have access to their software like this. Why would you sign an agreement to allow Maxon to do this to users with such a large piece of software. I think the software fix was never really fixed but reinstallation was just delay. I went into the Windows App manager and uninstalled the software but I'm sure it will show up again with the next update and we'll be talking about this again. See attached.

Sorry for the delay. I've been really busy. Let me update this now.

First, I know about the dialog box. When you do the initial installation, it defaults and I unchecked it but the software installs a few days later.

Second, I wiped completely my machine and reinstalled the OS and everything since my last post

and unchecked it again but it reinstalled today.
