Question

Media Encoder CC (newest version) can't render simple transitions from an After Effects CC 2018 project (newest version)

Hello,

since two days (the day I updated my Media Encoder) I've got a strange error code occuring everytime I try to render something from my After Effects project.

The error code is "-1609629695" and it occured before several times but it was always solvable. This time it wasn't. I don't use any effects except "Motion Tile". Also I use many Transformation transitions. And that's it. But Media Encoder still has its problems with rendering. It always cancels and shows me the same error code. The abort point is always different. I tried rendering projects I already had rendered and the error occured even there. I tried the same with older versions of AE and ME but that didn't help me at all.

I'm lost. Does anybody have a solution for this?

Katja

    Katja,

Sorry for your frustration. Can we have more info on your system, media, and comp? Screenshots help.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hello Kevin,

    Thanks for your answer!

To my system (I live in Germany, some data translated below):

    CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3.40 GHz

    RAM: 12 GB

System type: 64 bit OS, x64 based processor

    Additionally:

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645

    Free disk space: 400 GB

    Error log:

    It means:

    Export error

    Video compile error

    Rendering error

    Write exporter using: H.264

(the rest should be understandable for you I hope)

If I missed something please tell me I'm going to send that to you as well.
