motion tile help

hi, im having a few problems with the motion tile effect on after affects, ill send a picture below.

how can i make it so that the tiles effect is directly next to my original picture without the black spaces?

you have to pre-compose the clip/picture you have motion tile on, then open the pre-comp (double click) and increase the scale. I hope it’s understandable 🙂

Adjust the tile width and height parameters or "crop" the image by putting it in a suitably sized pre-composition. Basic AE stuff. You may want to read the online help.
