Motion tile plug-in generated a unexpected exception

Motion Tile essentially has a size limit it can handle. As Mylenium indicated, without seeing more of your project, it's hard to diagnose whether that's what's happening.

- What layer is that effect applied to?

- What are the specifics of that layer?

- Does the comp preview correctly if you turn off the Motion Tile effect? 

Without any info about your project, your system, the effect settings and so on nobody can tell you anything. For all we know this could just be another "values overcranked to insane numbers" issue, but then again it could be anything else. It doesn't even need to be the effect itself, just some stuff in your pre-comp when the Motion tile fires a render request... So by all means, you need to be much more specific.
