What is the good mouse you suggest for Ae? I use regular mouse many times precision is impossible. For example if want to zoom in using Alt key and mouse wheel many times it jump in and display larger image than what I wanted to.

I'd always used a cheap wired mouse until mine started to die.  I asked fellow Experts and almost as one they reccomended the Logitech MX Master 3s wireless mouse:

I must admit, I still use it in an ordinary way (don't really use the extra buttons), but it is very comfortable and the Windows application does offer configuration.  I think part of the reason I don't use the extra buttons is because I also have an Elgato stream deck which I've configured for AE and that is something I use a lot.

I'm not sure if that answers your question about precision or zooming though?

@ShiveringCactus

The MX Master 3S is a great choice.  I'm not sure it gets enough attention, but being able to press the Scroll Wheel to switch to what Logitech calls "Smooth Scrolling" is great for being able to switch between slow and precise scrolling and really, really fast scrolling.

I really like the Kensington Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball ($109.99) and the Kensington Orbit® Trackball with Scroll Ring ($39.99).  But, to avoid repetative use injury over time, I mix those with the Wacom Intuos Pro S ($245.95) for both pen and the touch options (this model that I have has been replaced by a newer one) and the Logitech Anywhere 3S ($89.99).

I really like the Apple Magic Trackpad (USB‑C) - Black Multi-Touch Surface ($149.95) and I happily use the integrated one with my MacBook Pro, but I opted for the Wacom Intuos Pro S instead for my desktop.

Which one of above mouse has analog variation when mouse wheel is rotated?

Personally, I use a gaming mouse.

But the jumping you are referring to may be caused by the fact that AE forces you into very specific zoom values suck as 50% 100%, 200%, etc rather than allowing you to set any arbitrary zoom value you like.

Is there any setting to have  arbitrary zoom value?

My mouse wheel seem digital variation not analog variation. I prefer mouse wheel with analog variation.

Sorry, as far as I know, there is no way to set zoom to arbitrary values only the preset ones.

So if you were at 100% zoom and zoom-in it would immediately jump to 200%.
