My After effects stops previewing all of a sudden

My After effects stops previewing all of a sudden and does not playback the animation at all. Also the caps lock button is off but nothing is playing but the timeline is still moving.

Please Help!!!!!

• Does it happen with different types of media files?
• Have you tried switching GPU Acceleration off or on under File > Project Settings > Video Rendering and Effects?
• Which GPU is installed on your machine?

Could your Region of Interest be clicked on?

Happened to me the other day and I didn't spot my mistake for ages.  Somehow I'd activate it and dragged a tiny region.
