My Masks Arent cutting the background out

When I finish a mask and connect it back to its starting point, it doesnt cut out the background

I think it's because you're using the Twixtor effect.  I'm not too familiar with this plugin, but I beleive the effect has to be on the footage in the precomp, rather than applied to the whole precomp.

Press the U key twice to reveal all modified properties on the layer with the mask. Make sure that the mask mode is set to Add if you want to eliminate everything outside the mask. Your screenshot does not show us how the mask is set. It could be set to None.

 

Spend some time with the User Guide and the Learn Workspace to learn about the UI and basic workflows.

I've set my mask to add (it always was on add), but its still not working, the last time I tried to mask I tried lots of times to mask around it but it didnt work, but then one time it suddenly worked and I dont know what I did

Any chance you're simply having hardware acceleration issues? Since your Windows isn't even activated, it may run on an outdated graphics driver. Look into that and also check your hardware accel stuff.

Impossible to say anything. You need to be much more specific and provide a screenshot or something like that. Start by checking your mask's modes.
