no mesh warp grid

When I add mesh warp the grid is not appearing. I see it in my time line but no grid populates. any ideas?

I checked and it was already set but still no grid

Well, your resolution is set to "Quarter". That alone could nix the overlay drawing of the mesh. Start by actually zooming to 100% and setting the resolution back to "Auto".
