Is it ok to install CUDA driver for mac with AMD gpu?

If you do not have a compatible NVIDA card DO NOT install NVIDIA (CUDA) drivers. You will make a mess that is not that easy to clean up. There are lots of posts on this. CUDA is deprecated - no longer being developed, never worked as it should and the same goes for Ray-traced rendering. There are also lots of posts on that.

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the info. Does adobe release alternative solution for this issue?

    TIA.

They have released 2017 which uses C4D rendering to accelerate things like extrusion of text layers. Ray-tracing is dead. It was a good idea that never went anywhere because NVIDIA completely changed the way they were doing things and too many other GPU manufacturers did not jump on the band wagon so Adobe decided to stop work on CUDA accelerated effects. Not Adobe's problem anymore.

As I said, there are lots of posts on this problem. I've never used Ray-traced rendering for any production for any client because it never worked as I thought it should and didn't seem to be going anywhere. I did play around with it for a few minutes once in a while, but even though I have a fully CUDC compliant system, it was not work the headaches and the render time.
