pixelated mov files in AE

Hey,

i have Mac M1 Chip Big Sur... every mov file that i import in AE in pixelated. it is not really running.

can anybody help? mov and comp have the same frame rate.

Try this:

 

Go to After Effects > Preferences > Import an deactivate the Enable hardware accelerated decoding (requires restart)

We need more info. Could you share a screen capture of your timeline panel and your composition panel? Also it would be great to know what size and compression are your mov files.

 

Without that info I would look at the resolution for the composition panel. Do you have in full resolution?

yea its full resolution, and the mov file cant be very big.
