places to buy After Effects templates?

I was curious if anyone had good suggestions for places to buy templates?  I am still learning and my projects are still relatively small, so I'm not in the mood to pay lots of money to experiment. There are several mainstream sites which seem awesome for both stock video and stock templates but I admit they are outside of my pocketbook range.

any suggestions for template sources? Thanks in advance

Motionvfx.com, videohive.net, digitaltemplate.com. I think the first ones are the best out there. But there are a lot of sites to buy templates.

Do any of you happen to know a template that does something like this?

There is nothing that shouts Template in the 20 Years of Natures's Best Photography video. If you want to recreate something like the open I would start with Card Dance applied to nested comps with images arranged into grids, add multiple copies and some animations in the nested comps to turn a set of the 3D images made up of a bunch of them into a single image.

Card dance isn't used much and most of the tutorials are pretty old but this one can give you the basics. You just set up a mosaic of images and then move them in 3D space with Card Dance and the controls or a displacement map. It's pretty easy.

Thanks.  I was hoping there might be something plug and play for a newbie.  Was there a link supposed to be attached to your response?

I recommend these:

Videoblocks:

4739000+ Stock Footage Video Clips, After Effects & Backgrounds

They have a deal for $149 for a year with unlimited downloads. The price is good but the templates are not that great but you can get nice stock footage in this price. They have a sort of commercial license included but the terms are a bit shady

Videohive:

https://videohive.net/

You probably know about them, it's the biggest marketplace with stunning templates. The downside is that you get no support if a template doesn't work correctly and they only include one license per purchase. That means you can only create one video for 1 of your clients. For more, you need to purchase the extended license which is expensive

BlueFx:

https://bluefx.net/

The choice of templates is limited but you do get an included extended license by default, technical support and 60 day money back guarantee. All the templates have video tutorials included and there's a section with free templates as well

Hope this helps

There are also freebie templates on the aforementioned sites which are meant for earlier AE versions than yours, but which you can still use and which can be highly informative if you have the patience to delve into them.  Keep that in mind.
