Playing Multiple Viewers (compositions) Simultaneously?

Question

Hey,

I am easily able to set up a split view of two compositions using New > Viewer, but I was curious if there is a way to play through, or navigate the timeline of two compositions at the same time.

I was planning on using it as an A B test of sorts between 2 versions of footage.

It would be useful to be able to play them both to see the difference instead of toggling back and forth and relying on memory.

Is there an easy way to achieve this that I'm missing?

Right now you can only play one timeline at a time. Maybe you can place the two videos in the same comp, change the size and compare them. I think this is more a Premiere Pro task.

I dont know if you still need this answer or not but I have a solution of it.

1. Place footage Layer 1 and Layer 2 on top of each other with exact same timing.
2. Now pre compose Layer 1 and hide the video (eye switch).
3. Lock your comp viewer and Open pre conposed layer in New Comp viewer as you are doing already. and stack them side by side.

now when you will scrub through the time line it will show you the footage from both timelines.
