Please Help When i open After Effects It Says the following

Adobe After Effects Error: preferences file "Adobe After Effects 14.0 Win en_US shortcuts.txt" is not valid. The file will be renamed with ".old" , and a new preferences file will be created.

After it says this Adobe After Effects 2017 Crashes and closes Sooo if anyone can help it will be very appreciated!!

Try resetting your preferences.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift  while the application is starting. A dialog box launches asking you if you want to delete your preferences file. To also restore default keyboard shortcuts, Alt-click the OK button.

Note that you will lose any custom workspaces and any changes to the preferences.

On windows it takes certain timing fashion to get it right. Try deleting the prefs file manually:

• (Windows) \Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\[version]

it works but after that it removes all my projects and i cant import them back it just says "after effects error: missing data in file" what do i do?

i dont see those options on the file app. i have windows 10 but i dont see it.
