Possible to Change Opacity of the Multiply Blend Mode?

Is it possible to change the opacity of my multiply blend mode in After Effects like you can in Illustrator or InDesign? If so, where do I do that? Just changing the regular opacity to 85% after also turning on multiply DOES NOT do the same thing as applying an 85% multiply to an image. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the difference is if you just adjust the opacity of the layer you are blending. If you need ultimate control try adding Curves or Levels and fiddle with the curve or the gamma.

I'm not familiar with the mechanics of the Multiply Blend Mode in AI/Id but you can try Effects>Channel/Calculations and adjust the property, "Second Layer Opacity" to see if it serves your needs.
