Pre Rendering in After Effects, great for AE playback, but is it essential for PPro performance?
Hello,
When editing a comp in AE, with 3 layers or even 15 layers, is it best to ALWAYS pre render and combine into one clean video clip, because not only will it playback better in AE, but when it goes over to PPro, PPro will have an easier time reading it and rendering it, because it's a simple file, instead of all the layers?
I'm thinking yes, that should be the case, but I'd like to hear from you pros about it.
If that is true, we should always pre render our AE comps so PPro won't have to work so hard and exporting to disc will be faster?
Thanks for your advice,
Letty
