Hi!

I can not open one template in After Effects. Receive the following message: "this project must be converted from version 10.0.1 (Windows 64). The original file will be unchanged".

How can I fix this problem?

It's just saying "this project was created on an older version of After Effects" and then "this project uses fonts that you don't have on your system and we can't connect to TypeKit to try to help resolve them".

Neither will prevent you from using the project. The only problem is that some of the text won't look the same because you don't have the fonts they were using in the project. So, either install the fonts or just use your own.

    Hi,

I got following message: "After Effects: this project must be converted from version 10.5 (Windows 64). The original file will be unchanged." And when I push the OK bottom i got this: "Unable to connect to Typekit. Missing fonts cannot be resolved at this time".

PS. I got those message using After Effects 2017 CC and trying to open a template from Envato.

other than the warning that will go away and will let you load the project, what are the problems?

There is no problem. It's merely a friendly warning that you are opening a project created in an older version of AE. Otherwise if it realyl doesn't open, you have to provide more info. It may simply use third-party plug-ins or otehr stuff that don't come with a vanilla AE and thus break down.
