PSD file imported into After Effects displays incorrectly.

I have a psd file with multiple layers and a group/layer mask with a color fill/levels filling in mostly the foreground and some of the background. When I import this into after effects, the brightness and/or contrast of the background is a lot darker but the foreground is the same color. I have been importing it as a photoshop sequence and a composition.  How can I solve this?

Si puedes subir capturas de pantalla para intentar hacer comparaciones entre ambas sería mucho mejor. Tal vez podrías revisar el perfil de color con el que estás trabajando en ambas aplicaciones y ajustarlo igual en ambas.

As @Byron Cortez already wrote, comparative screenshots of AE vs. PS and the layer palettes and timeline would be required to even come close to unriddling this. On a hunch I'd simply say you are using a PS-specific feature that isn't supported in AE and PS doesn't correctly store a rasterized version of it in the PSD file. Anything from complex layer styles to smart filters, most likely. You may need to re-organize your layers then by duplicating and merging the relevant items. Eitehr way, impossible to say without specific info.
