Quick opacity change?

Community Beginner ,
Jan 18, 2021 Jan 18, 2021

Is there a quick keyboard shortcut that will immediately toggle a layer to 50% opacity (and back)?

I would like to find a faster shortcut than hitting 'T,' and then dragging the opacity amount to the left with my cursor.

The reason is because I do a lot of UX animation work where I am frequently aligning layers with reference layers underneath.

Thanks!

-Shaun

Go to edit > keyboard shortcuts. in the search field write "opacity", scroll down to look for: NudgeOpacityDownMore and NudgeOpacityUpMore, and assign keyboard shortcuts for both

ctrl + alt + shift + (+ or - on num pad) will increase - decrease opacity by 10%

Also, you can use + and - on num pad in conjunction with modifier keys to scale and rotate layers

Thanks for the reply, @Ali Jaber .

For some reason those combinations are not working for me. I'm on a Mac.
