I wish to know  whether Quick Time video is saved as a MOV extension. If so how to open this video? I tried to convert by using VLC but it didn't work.

QuickTime Prores files are saved in MOV format. Some variants of MOV files might not be supported by VLC. You can try the QuickTime Player from the Apple website. However, it's very old software. Another alternative would be to download a free open-source media player. I found one here that's based on ffmpeg: https://adobe.ly/4n3vcxb. Please be aware of malware when downloading files online. I cannot vouch for the safety of this website.
