AE 2023.6 in Windows10 throws a "Couldn't open file" error in a project with .exrs' saved to a location with a path length over 260 characters. This seems to be the classic Windows max path limitation but enabling long paths in Windows10 doesn't fix the problem, leading me to believe it's a path length limitation built into AE 2023.6 for Windows.

This begs the question, what is the max path length for assets in AE 2023, and is it possible to increase it?
An Adobe employee posted this screenshot, seemingly implying there's a "hard" limit of 255 in After Effects but I can't find any supporting documentation online. The screenshot also says to "see the Asset Name Syntax" which I can't find anywhere.
Can someone help fill in the blanks here? Renaming all the assets would be extremely difficult and this limitation doesn't exist in macOS, so we're bound to run into this again as we receive projects from Mac users who live in a world without the limitation.
