"Lock & Hide" marker function?

Just curious, I know you can lock the markers on layers, but wondering if you could sort of "hide" them so that they don't get in the way of grabbing the in/out points?

I feel like it would be a useful feature. I often put markers on every beat of the song I'm working on. It would be nice to hide/ignore them (sort of the like the overall Motion Blur and Frame Blending switches).

Ok cool! Yeah with me it's also a bit of a hassle with music.

I love the idea of having a lock switch with motion blur and shy and those guys!
