"Refresh disabled"/caps lock not activated?

Hi

Since this morning I have this message in my composition window : refresh disabled (release caps lock to refresh view). The issue is my caps lock isn't activated on my keyboard. The message appears at each time I do a new action... I can't work anymore because I have to deactive/reactive my caps lock every time...

    I had the same problem (Mac) and rebooting the system fixed it

    I see this as an uncommon issue and when such issues occur, it is best to delete/trash AE's Preferences. Do the necessary and let us know if the issue persists.

    Thanks for your response.

    I deleted twice AE's preferences but I have still the same issue...

    It's most likely a keyboard issue. Have you tried testing your keyboard in another app, such as a notepad thingy? Dust/dirt etc might have collected into the crevices in your KB.

    If you're certain it's only AE that has an issue with your keyboard, then send in  Bug Report.
