"Unable to acquire rendered frame" when warp stabilizing

I have a JPEG sequence with 500 images I want to stabilize. But when applying warp, I get "unable to acquire rendered frame" after 12 frames. Get the same message with every sequence. This is on a 2016 iMac i7, 4,0ghz, 8GB ram. Funny thing is that I can stabilize it without problem on my MacBook pro. What am I missing here?

I have been googling my ass off. Some says it might be faulty RAM slots...

There is a bug with JPEG sequence handling in current versions of CC that seems to come down to some specific math function used by the compression algorithm and thus behaving differently on different computers. Simply use another image format and try again.

Thank you for the answer. I am having the same behavior with a .PNG sequence.

I am having this same issue, but with JPEGS, and it's now 2021.
