Red Giant's Trial Not Working

I have a imac and I'm running AE CC17 and I've been trying to download Red Giant's Universe trial, everything works in till the download is finished and this pops up:

The installer encountered an error. The installer log output can be viewed in the Console application (/Applications/Utilities/Console).

Does anyone have any solutions?

Im NOT able to install the new Shooter Suite - this is the message i get.  

Installation failed with status -1

The installer encountered an error. The installer log output can be viewed in the Console application

(/Applications/Utilities/Console).

 

Waiting to tech support - but if anyone has a solution please share.  Im on a new Imac - fully loaded.

Found the work around for this - just install this first- https://www.redgiant.com/application-manager/

Hello,

If you find a Red Giant Link.app in your Applications folder, you can directly get access to Universe trial. You launch it and click UNIVERSE tab. The Red Giant Link.app is installed if you install any Red Giant suite products.
