Render CC Snow with transparent background

I'm trying to create falling snow to place over another image in a snowglobe in animate.  I've created my falling snow successfully in after effects.  I have two layers with black solids adding cc snow effect to both layers each with different settings.  I've tried to render as png with RGB plus alpha to import into animate cc but the background is black not transparent.

I've created falling snow with AS but I like the effect better with cc snow.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Apply a Shift Channels or Channel Combiner effect and set the Alpha to be derived from the Luminance.

Set the blend mode of your snow layers to Add or Screen and overlay them on the background. No need to render an alpha channel and a separate video.

If you need an alpha channel then look for the free Unmult effect at Red Giant software and put that in an adjustment layer on top of your two layers with their blend modes set to Screen or Add.

I have the mode set to screen.  My composition background color is black.  It still creates a png sequence with snow on a black background.
