Render Issue - opacity?

Hi, I've just rendered a composition and the rendered video looks totally different to the preview. The camera/null zooms into this object, leaving a blue background behind. However in the rendered video, the blue circle has disappeared and the entire object has a lowered opacity? Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Since your rendered shot shows motion blur stepping, the simple truth likely is that you didn't account for it while working on the file and never turned on motion blur preview. This can change the appearance of semi-transparent stuff a lot. For anything beyond that guess you have to provide more info as Rick already pointed out.

You have either customized render settings or fouled-up color management.

 

Without workflow details and embedded preferred over attached screenshots showing the modified properties of your comp or settings, and some Version and OS details it's pretty hard to pin town the solution to the problem.
