Rendering Problem in After Effects

I have an after effect with three layers. Every time I render it (either by composition menus or file menu) it only takes two of the layers.

This is what I am trying to render.

This is what I get when I ad to render queue.

This is the end MP4 generated.

The paint brush is missing and I cannot figure out why. In the preview on After Effect it works and moves along with the words. Can anyone please help me?

Sorry just re-read the Question more carefully. It looks like your paintbrush is set as a guide layer so it will show in preview but will not render. You usually use guide layers when you need to reference something that the comp will be placed over in a later step. You can select the layer and go to the layer menu or right-click and clear the guide layer status.

Update: I have tried deleting the unshown layer and locking the other three. It still did not work.

Your shape layer is off and it looks like the "paintbrush" png is a guide layer - so you have only 2 layers to render
