Rendering Problems

Hello all!!!!!

So, I've recently finished a project and trying to render it. When the render finishes the project is muddled up and doesn't look the same as when played in after effects...

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

If you could, that would be great. If not, then we can figure this out with screenshots. I just need specific info on how you're exporting from the Render Queue. Also, a screenshot of the same frame in After Effects and your exported file would be helpful.

I seem to have solved the problem by un-precomposing something. I don't know why it's worked but thanks for all your help!!

To update. when the below is clicked the preview looks the same as the rendered version (i.e. wrong). Unchecked, the preview looks correct but the rendered version is wrong.

Please provide specifics about how you're rendering your file, as well as what exact version of AE and OS you're using.

Are you sending your comp to the AE Render Queue or are you queuing it to Adobe Media Encoder? What format and settings are you using? If you're perhaps sending your comp to AME, please post a screenshot of your compression settings.

Screenshots make these kinds of questions much easier to solve, but my first guess is that you might be sending your comp to AME and exporting out an H.264 file with a bit rate that isn't high enough.

Hello David, thanks so much for replying. I tried in both render queue and media encoder with the same result.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a dimwit. Do you want me to somehow upload the ae file?
