Hi.

Is there a way to replace an image in a precomposition such that it keeps the keyframes of the image being replaced?
I am able to do this on the projects panel but not inside a precomposition.

If you select the footage you want to replace in the timeline, then select the new footage in the Project Panel, then hold down the Alt/Option key and drag from the Project Panel to the timeline, the layer will change to the replacement source and keep all of the transformations and effects.

Thank you so much.

I feel so silly. I had tried this so many times but the way i was doing it it kept creating a new layer above the image i was tying to replace. Now it worked perfectly. I'm grateful.
