I use After Effects 2021 and I have the issues with Roto Brush 2.0's rendering. Some frames are filled green color (please see attachments). Also Roto Brush propagating is very slow. What can be problem here?

My system:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit) Version 21H2
  • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640. Driver's version 474.14
  • RAM: 24 GB
  • Hard disk space is more than 15GB

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't really matter. The magic sauce is always the graphics driver and as many threads here on this forum prove, if that doesn't work correctly for whatever reason even an RTX card is just expensive useless silicon. So ultimately get whatever is affordable to you and what's compatible with your system, which may be in fact a bigegr consideration if your motherboard does not support the respective PCI version and modes or doesn't have enough voltage.

Turn off hardware accelerated footage decoding in the preferences Import section and try again. Other than that consider turning off hardware acceleration completely. Your GPU is pretty old and may simply not support some of those features, causing errors.

@Mylenium Thanks for your response. What GPU models can you advice?
