Roto Brush Tool doesn't work at 'Best' Quality

Hey,
Whenever I try to Roto Brush elements in my projects, I can only use the 'Standard' quality for it to work. As soon as I switch to 'Best' quality to get better track and try to propagate frames, the preview monitor starts flashing black and then I get an error message:
I'm currently on AE version 23.2.1 (Build 3) but this issue has been constant for months. I have tried changing project properties like resolution and colour managament, I deleted cache and reinstalled After Effects. I tried running the Intel version as well – All with no luck. And Adobe Customer Care online chat wasn't helpful (as always 😭)
I am running a MacBook Pro with M1 Max, 64 GB RAM, MacOS Ventura 13.2.1
Has anyone had this issue or is able to help me fix it please?

Hi @tomas_petrus,
Thanks for reporting this issue, we know this is very frustrating. The Best mode of Roto Brush 2 is not currently compatible with macOS 13, as noted in Known Issues here: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/kb/known-issues-after-effects.html. If the Standard Quality mode isn't providing enough edge detail, I'd recommend also enabling Classic Controls, which will allow you to dial more detail with the Standard Mode.
We are working with Apple to restore compatibility in a future update of After Effects and/or macOS. The best place to track the status of this fix will be the existing thread here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-bugs/after-effect-crashes-mac-os-ventura-rotobrush/idi-....
