Rotobrush causes immediate Crash

Hi guys, 

I'm on a Macbook Air M1 chip, plenty of harddrive space avail. 

As soon as I press the spacebar to implement the roto brush AE crashes every time. The clip is only 2 seconds long, and I've tried a few different clips.
