Save as lower version from AE 2020

Hi! Please, help.

I use AE 2020. How can I save my project as CS6 ?

You can only go back as far as the File/Save As menu allows. To get all the way back to CS6 you would have to still have enough versions of AE installed to step back. You are also going to lose a bunch of functionality in the original comp unless it is nothing more than simple animation.

You really can't and that is that. At this point the structural changes in AE's project format are so drastic that even tip-toeing back using the "one version back" save trick is no longer worth it and even then you would need to have all versions on your system to begin with. In any case, you'd face soem major data loss depending on what features and effects you actually used, so I wouldn't consider it a worthwile way to spend your time.
