save frame won't go to render queue

Hi! I've been having a problem with my save frame. When I go to save frame as > file it won't go to render queue but instead, it opens my file and will only let me save as a psd. ps I'm also aware there's already an answer for this question here but I still don't get what to do

Can you post the full frame screengrab, rather than the tightly cropped one you've posted? We can't really see what you're doing from the image you posted.

Are you sure your're not invoking the "save as layers" function? Otherwise more info will be needed about what's actually going on in your comp, your system and so on.

No I think? I doubt I'm doing that since I never saw the " save as layers " function but could it be something with my output module settings or did I delete a file?
