Search for alerted missing files in the project search bar comes up with no results missing.

Hello!

With the newest update for After Effects, I encounter that when opening any project that has either a missing font, file or effect searching for the content missing in the project search bar, ends up with no results. Searching the word missing as a stand alone, also finds no results despite having missing content within the project. If anyone could provide any helpful information or insight that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, as I mentioned I've always done exactly as the video stated.

OS and System info, please. No problems for me on 4 different machines. Have you tried resetting your preferences?

Having this issue today in 2025, but resetting my preferences did not fix it. Making a new bug post now.
