Show/Hide Grid Keyboard Shortcut Not Working

The keyboard shortcut to show/hide the grid has stopped working. I checked in the settings and it's still set to default (Commnd + '), but when I try to use the shortcut nothing happens. 

I have reset the preferences, restarted After Effecs without plugins and it's still not working!

 

The same issue exists in Photoshop, which uses the same keystrokes for that shortcut.

 

Other Command shortcuts work fine and the ' key works.

 

Any suggestions?

1) Which AE version are you using?

 

2) Are you using the Keyboard Shortcuts Visualizer in AE to view/edit Shortcuts - Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts

1) I'm using AE 16.1.2 (CC 2019)

 

2) Yes, I am using the Keyboard Shortcuts Visualizer

Check that your system keyboard is in English.
