Small annoying Freezes / Lagging

Im noticing small freezes and lag when doing simple operations in AE, Im running 17.02 (build 26)

on a

2019 Mac Pro 2.7Ghz 24 Core Intel Xeon W

192Gb 2933 DDR4

AMD Radeon pro Vega 2 32Gb

Osx Catalina 10.15.3

Usually occurs when moving keyframes, moving layers or selecting multiple keyframes (elastic selection)

The program freezes for a few seconds, but then catches up......extreeeeeeemly annoying, close to unworkable. Any ideas? TIA

Me too, macpro, 10.15.3 cc17NEW. It is often slow for 1 second, which is annoying

Thank you for the detailed post. I see that you are having trouble with the After Effects interface.

If it doesn't help, try updating to the latest version (17.0.4).
