Spacebar preview: "play once"

this preview options(?) help...!

Spacebar with PLAY ONCE: it plays from the CTI to the Wort Area end WITH music, then it starts from the beginning of the Work Area WITHOUT music till the position of the CTI (why? 😕😕 )

Is there an option: From the CTI to the end of the Work Area with music and stops at the End of the Work Area?

It should playback the workarea once when the Loop option is disabled as you've shown in the screenshot. Do you have the "Cache Before Playback" checked? If so, see if disabling it helps.

I don's see a different between on/off of this option.

While the CTI is NOT in the Work Area, it plays the whole WA once and jumps back to the CTI.

but if the CTI is IN the WA, it plays to the end (with sound,) then from the beginning to the CTI without sound. kinda stang behavior

Can you check if clicking the Reset button in the Preview panel helps? If it doesn't, try running After Effects in Safe Mode.
