Stretched image

Im working on a 1080x1080 comp and i imported a square image to work on but every time i import an image into after effects it comes out stretched out instead of the square size its suppose to be. Anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?

      check your composition setting and make sure you are on square pixels aspect ratio.

      The best would be to show us what is your composition setings. So Please send us a screenshoot of your settings (Composition/ition settings) and send us screenshoot of your Comp prev window. That will help us determinate if you have square pixels or some other kind as Roei said.

        What does this even mean? I have used Enhance on dozens of images with no problems. Same thing happened to me today. Where do I check composition setting?
