Syncing Project Files to Creative Cloud

New Here ,
Oct 22, 2020 Oct 22, 2020

Hello,

I have setup Premiere Pro 2020 to automatically sync project files (auto saves) to creative cloud as a backup. I am trying to do the same with After Effects 2020, but can't seem to figure out how to make that happen. Is it possible, or is this a Premiere only function for some reason?

Thanks for your help!

The feature you're talking about is a Premiere Pro feature.

However, you can set After Effects to save a backup of your project to your Creative Cloud folder on your computer:

Strange that they don't offer it for other programs, but thank you!

If I set my auto-save to the cloud, will my regular saves still remain on my local device?

Auto-saves are separate AEPs from the AEPs you save via FileSave As – so, saving as per normal INTO a local drive means you will have it on your local drive.
