Text disappearing when using "Enable Per Character 3D" and Cinema 4D.

I animated some text, and then went to switch to Cinema 4D to extrude and bevel it, etc. However, when I switch to Cinema 4D, the text disappears.  I believe this is linked to the "Enable Per Character 3D".  When I start with Cinema 4D turned on, then go to create the text animations and turn on the "Enable Per Character 3D" my text again disappears. Anyone else experience this and find a solution?

I solved my own problem but I'll leave it up in case anyone every encounters this: If you are trying to switch to cinema 4D and want to use enable per character, you can't have a space at the start of your text! Has to start with a letter or the words will disappear.

    This fixed my project

    I didn't have a blank space but my text direction was right to left which made the same problem happen
